Position Requirements: * Minimum 6 months of USA Reefer truckload transportation experience (knowledge of LTL is a benefit, but not required) * Possess strong communication and negotiation skills and be able to work under pressure * Negotiate Rates with Customers and Brokers and lock in the best rates to maximize profit * Basic computer proficiency, i.e. load boards, email, transportation programs * Being on time, prompt, and prepared on a daily basis * Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills * Bringing new accounts and existing accounts in is a plus General Job Duties: * Booking Freight and developing relationships with brokers and customers * Staying up to date on freight trends * Knowing backhaul/headhaul markets and the relevant pricing * Soliciting new shippers to gain direct freight * Checking broker credit worthiness to ensure a prompt payment history * Completing new customer contracts * Pre-planning your assigned drivers * Providing driver updates to the customers The performance will be reviewed on a regular basis.
