The SEO/SEM Strategist at AXYYS, Inc. takes a lead role as the subject matter expert for our clients in all things related to organic search. The ideal SEO/SEM Strategist for this position will work to define goals and create a strategic roadmap for achieving SEO success. The specialist is a highly organized individual and has an ability to pull valuable, actionable insights from website analytics data that will help drive consistent growth for our clients. This is a marketing position with a strong focus on data and insights. Essential Duties Assist with paid media budget management Put on your SEO hat to support local SEO efforts, as you will work closely with our content team on keyword opportunities as well as work hand-in-hand with our SEO agencies/vendors and front/back-end developers to address technical SEO improvements Be always on the hunt for new strategies, features and next-gen technologies to test and learn Dig into Google Analytics and specific vendor dashboards to find those insights that separate great performance from merely good Ensure that new site pages follow proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword best practices Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Analytics, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree a plus 3+ years of Search Marketing experience, either client side or Agency Documented experience managing retail or related SEM programs or performance marketing channels Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center, Bing Ads, SEMRush or similar SEO tools Thorough understanding of acquisition marketing and latest Paid Search trends, including automated bidding Highly analytical with proven ability to think strategically Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment Excellent written, oral communications and presentation skills A passion for an ever-changing industry...
