Our Company is currently seeking a Trucking Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our Logistics team. The essential function of this position is to ensure compliance with ALL relevant transportation regulations in the US and Canada and plan and coordinate quarterly safety meeting for all truck drivers. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with ALL relevant transportation regulations in the US and Canada Plan and coordinate quarterly safety meeting for all truck drivers Monitor and maintain third party training for fleet Maintain all equipment files (trucks, Trailers, Chassis, and yard equipment) & maintain the Preventive Maintenance Program Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date. Monitor and review HOS compliance and accuracy and correct issues Produce monthly CVOR violation rates and submit it to the Operations Manager Ensure driver operators safety manual is current and ready to distribute at safety meetings Produce spot Hot Topic safety alerts for drivers and write up, edit and publish quarterly newsletters Conduct and/or assist with accident/collision and incident investigation Communicate with insurance provider regarding claims Other responsibilities as assigned We offer: Fair salary based on experience(starting from $500); Opportunities for further growth and development; Availability to work from office/home; Dynamic and friendly work environment.
