MISSION The Field Coordinator Assistant assists the Field Coordinator in external representation, program coordination, and strategy preparation for Solidarits International in each intervention area. They also ensure coordination with other humanitarian participants, team management, and security and humanitarian monitoring. These tasks entail strict confidentiality on the part of the Assistant Field Coordinator. Starting date: ASAP Type of contract: Employee Fixed-Term contract, full-time Duration: 6 months, renewable Duty Station: Chisinau Gross Salary: 27,000 MDL per month List of main tasks: Establish informal ties and a network of contacts enabling the collection and verification of diverse information, security report and security briefing of new employees. Under delegation of the Field Coordinator, represent Solidarits International during humanitarian and security coordination meetings, promote Solidarits International messages. Communicate with other NGOs and regularly visit Solidarits Internationals intervention sites to ensure a coordinated humanitarian response. Participate in the drafting of Solidarits Internationals intervention strategy in Moldova. Monitor the activities implemented in Solidairtes International intervention sites, and produce an analysis of the evaluation, intervention, and monitoring reports. PROFILE OF THE CANDIDATE / REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of the Moldovan context and good connections with local authorities required. Previous experience with NGO/INGOs valued. Availability to work full time (estimated 8:30 am to 5:30 pm) for a minimum of 3 months required. Language: Romanian, Russian and English mandatory. Ukrainian is a plus.
